Holiday Toy & Clothing Drive

December 2013

Dudley Ventures was pleased to sponsor a Holiday Toy & Clothing Drive supporting the Ryan House in Arizona. Our employees participated by bringing in toys, including Lego sets, dress up clothes, sound and light toys, Xbox and Wii games, as well as baby bottles and pacifiers and newborn/preemie clothing sets. The Ryan House relies on support of the community to provide respite and palliative care to children with life-threatening conditions. Ryan House provides a welcoming, comfortable environment where children can truly be themselves. Parents get a much-needed short break, while the kids receive care from an experienced professional nursing staff. It all adds up to a well-deserved and essential opportunity to focus on being families and living life to its fullest.

PHOENIX CHILDREN’S PROJECT 2011 Holiday Giving

DECEMBER 2011

Dudley Ventures’ 2011 Holiday Giving Program included adopting two local families, with a total of 7 children, and stuffing stockings for an additional 20 children for the Phoenix Children’s Project.  All of the children received a pair of pants, long-sleeved shirts, a pair of shoes, and two or more toys from the child’s wish list.  The DV elves had a great time shopping for and wrapping the presents, as well as delivering them to the families on December 22, 2011.  The families were extremely thankful and the children were very excited when the gifts arrived. Phoenix Children’s Project is dedicated to improving the lives of children living in poverty in Phoenix, Arizona. Their goal is to help under-privileged children become healthy, self-reliant adults. The organization helps to feed and clothe children, and teach them how to help themselves so they can create better lives for themselves as adults and improve the community.

With the help of many volunteers, the Phoenix Children’s Project was able to provide a full Christmas to approximately 350 children who otherwise would not have had a Christmas!
